CodeMeter, Wibu-Systems’ flagship technology, encrypts software, firmware, and sensitive data using the strongest cryptographic algorithms and methods. The licenses generated are stored in secure elements, namely CmDongles (hardware-based: USB dongles, secure memory cards, ASICs), CmActLicenses (software-based: bound to the digital fingerprint of the end device using SmartBind®) and CmCloudContainer (cloud-based: stored in a Wibu-Systems private cloud). CodeMeter is available for cloud applications as well as computer, embedded, IoT, mobile, PLC, microcontroller, and FPGA systems.
